My Trip to Capalonga: A Journey of Faith and Food

We left home at around 5:30 before the sun rise last weekend. Every time my father had a chance to visit us in Quezon, we always made a chanceI to see the beauty of Capalonga, Camarines Norte, a place known for its religious significance and beautiful coastal views. Our journey was not just a trip but a spiritual experience as well. The main reason for our visit was to attend Mass at the famous Shrine of the Black Nazarene in Capalonga. This church is a famous pilgrimage site for devotees from different parts of the country. As we entered, I felt the solemnity and devotion of the people. The image of the Black Nazarene, which is miraculous, stood there as a symbol of faith and hope. The Mass was sincere, and I took the time to reflect, pray, and be thankful for the blessings of my life. Witnessing the faith of the people around me made the experience even more meaningful.
